Build a Website

1. A Claude account - the free plan is enough.
2. The Claude Skill installed - exact steps below.
3. Work through the questions Claude asks you - what language to conduct the interview in, what your site is about, which language(s) the site itself should have, packages and pricing, testimonials, visual style, and so on.
4. The result is a working website - usually somewhere between 10 and 100 individual files, depending on how many sections and subpages you choose.
5. Upload the generated files to your own hosting (e.g. via FTP or a file manager).
6. Done! I'd genuinely like to hear how it went and what could be improved.

1. In your Claude settings, make sure Code execution and file creation is turned on (Settings → Capabilities on Free/Pro/Max, or Organization settings → Skills on Team/Enterprise).
2. Go to Customize → Skills.
3. Click "+" then "+ Create skill" → "Upload a skill".
4. Upload the file you downloaded above. (It's actually a ZIP archive with a .skill extension - if the upload doesn't accept it, just rename the extension to .zip.)
5. The skill appears in your skills list and turns on automatically. From then on, just ask Claude something like "build me a website" and it'll offer to use the skill.

If you're using Cowork, it's even simpler - just click the attached file and hit "Save skill".
